This guide is an effort to make the mammals of the Yucatan Peninsula known in a simple, objective way for the common visitor. Thus, the visitor will be able to identify the mammals’ prints and other tracks, their remains on the ground after their deaths, and especially their skulls. These skeletal structures offer the most typical features and are therefore the easiest to recognize.
